Thatherton installs, inspects and maintains the tank at no charge to you. The tank stays ours, which means our people handle the parts that involve a wrench.§

† The 5–7 business day window is a goal, not a term of the agreement. Out-of-gas restarts require a pressure test billed at the current rate.

§ Tank remains the property of Thatherton Fuels at all times. Customers who leave us are responsible for scheduling removal and for the removal fee, currently the largest fee we charge.
¶ "Active account" means an account with a delivery in the preceding twelve months and no balance over 30 days.
The dial reads percent full, not gallons. A 500 gallon tank at 30% holds about 150 gallons.
Tanks fill to 80%. The empty part is not missing propane. It is room for the propane to expand, and every dealer in Texas does it this way.
Liquid propane swells when it warms. The vapor space keeps pressure where it belongs.
